Lama de Ouriço is a village with some history in deep Trás-os-Montes.The Chapel/Church of S. Gonçalo, Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Saúde, crosses, alminhas, fountains, public oven and the head of the wall.Cabeço da Muralha or Castro da Lama de Ouriço is a protohistoric fortified settlement. The settlement is surrounded by two lines of walls which, at some points, are up to 5 meters thick, and protected to the south by an outer defense line. Inside there are traces of circular and rectangular buildings.
